根據蓮花生大士（蓮師）伏藏中的預言，在2030（鐵狗年），東西方國家將發生嚴重戰亂，人類將陷入被摧毀的巨大危機。
蓮師曾說：「任何人以真摯虔誠之心念誦此七句祈請文或心咒，我一定會降臨其座前，加持並遣除其種種違緣。」為此，尊貴的宋都仁波切請求所有與他有法緣的僧俗弟子，趁2024（木龍年），累積唸誦億遍蓮師心咒及七句祈請文，以求迴遮鐵狗年之重大戰禍。
